A scintillating display of attacking football ensured united's biggest away win of the season on a night when the Reds set a new defensive record of eleven clean sheets.Goals from Dimitar Berbatov,Carlos Tevez,Namenja Vidic,and a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo sealed a 5-0 victory over West Brom at The Hawthorns,who had their skipper Paul Robinson sent-off just before half-time.

Zoran Tosic will make his debut against Derby County
Manchester United assistant boss Mike Phelan is confident Zoran Tosic is ready for his Red Devils bow.
Tosic has not played a competitive game since the beginning of December, and manager Sir Alex Ferguson claimed it would be the end of February before the 21-year-old was in the right condition to make his senior debut.
But the former Partizan Belgrade winger has been so impressive in training that Ferguson has had a change of heart and now intends to name Tosic in his squad for Tuesday night's Carling Cup semi-final with Derby.

United moved second in the table and just two points behind league-leaders Liverpool with an important, yet unspectacular, victory against Wigan Athletic, a battle which was over no sooner than it had started thanks to a first-minute strike from Wayne Rooney.Sir Alex made five changes to the team that beat Chelsea 3-0 on Sunday. Rafael, John O’Shea, Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick and Nani were all drafted in to replace Gary Neville, Patrice Evra, Darren Fletcher, Ryan Giggs and Ji-sung Park.Sunday’s victory took the Reds to within five points of Liverpool, fuelling Wigan’s visit to Old Trafford with a sense of purpose in the first of two games in hand on the Merseysiders. Steve Bruce’s men may be in flying form, but this was a chance United patently couldn’t afford to pass up.

Derby County 1 - 0 Manchester United(WTF)
United will have to come from behind to book a place at Wembley in the Carling Cup final after slipping to a shock 1-0 defeat away at Derby County.
The Reds endured an uncomfortable evening at Pride Park in the semi-final first leg clash and lost out to a fine first-half strike from the impressive Kris Commons.
Sir Alex made five changes to the side that had overcome Southampton in the FA Cup, with the weekend visit of Chelsea no doubt very much in his thoughts. Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville and Dimitar Berbatov were all given the night off, while Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs were handed places on the bench. Tomasz Kuszczak took over between the sticks, with Paul Scholes, Carlos Tevez, Rafael and Darron Gibson filling the other vacant posts. Eighteen-year-old striker Danny Welbeck, who opened the scoring at St. Mary’s, retained his place in attack.
Derby, meanwhile, had a new manager - Nigel Clough - to impress and with that in mind set about their task with real energy and endeavour which had a significant effect on United’s rhythm throughout the 90 minutes.
After just six minutes Kuszczak was forced to make a point-blank save, albeit from a tight angle, from Steve Davies who, having seen his initial cross from the left pinball around the area, latched onto Rob Hulse’s hopeful ball back into the danger area and fired goalwards. He got a second bite of the cherry when Kuszczak’s block rebounded back into his path, but Reds skipper for the night Nemanja Vidic was on hand to clear the danger.

United beat Championship strugglers Southampton 3-0 on Sunday to set up an FA Cup fourth round clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.Goals from Danny Welbeck, Nani and Gibson sealed the win against a Saints side that was reduced to 10 men after only 36 minutes.
